Full House









Buttermilk Pizza Crust
1c. buttermilk
1 T. sugar
1/2c. olive oil
1 pkg active dry yeast
3c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Combine buttermilk, sugar and oil in a large sauce pan. Heat until warm. Add yeast and stir until mixed loosely. Transfer to a mixing bowl and add flour, salt and baking soda. Knead until smooth and let rest for ten minutes. Add toppings....and bake @ 400 for 20-25 minutes.

Fig/Prosciutto/Soppressata/Mozzarella
Cottage Bacon/Carmen peppers/Romas/Parmesean

Pizza, friends, and all the good drinks. Abbi works at an apple orchard as well so she reduced apple cider and mixed with bourbon. We're planning to add champagne to the grape juice one of these nights we get together to make jam and rhubarb syrup.

Such good company on a Fall-like night. Happy Autumnal Equinox.

And lots of feasting and gatherings ahead! *We planned a "last day of Summer" overnight camping trip on the river I'll share when I get a chance.*
