Farm Life

It has been a seven month whirlwind since I last wrote in this space! It feels like a good time to write and share as the seasons are changing. I will update when I can, but if there is anything I learned at the height of Summer it is this: I have found more happiness and contentment in living and pursuing this way of life that suits me, and not planning and not scheduling and not forcing.
I would love to use this place for sharing snippets & pictures of daily farm life, and as a place to share/curate all that inspires. There will be a recipe or two as well.
For now, a few pictures from around the farm and a visit to a vineyard this weekend. Tomato season is almost finished (Yay! They are getting pretty gross to harvest!) and we have started picking potatoes (blue, red, purple and white), sweet potatoes, & butternut, acorn, and delicata squash. Fall is in the air - the mornings are cool and the steady breeze make the days very enjoyable. Woodsmoke from neighboring farms in the air, too.

Tomorrow evening I'm hosting everyone from the farm for dinner ~ grape juice and pizza! Forever happy for these friends and the times we've shared this Summer. Prosciutto and fig pizza post next, maybe :)
